WHAT HAVE I DONE?
Active Outreach Committee Meets Bi-Weekly Membership Development Packet as a Resource to councils and their societies Updated contact information for several schools Contacted and Invited all the schools to President00 Retreat to build communication gap Set a goal of recruiting 5 new councils to NAESC this year ( 1 per region at least) Added all the councils emails we had into the national outreach email
What am I working on?
Working on several schools to join NAESC (Vandy, UTKnoxville, UCSD, Colorado State, Hawaii) Working on developing a recruitment packet that is nicer than the old packet Working on officer training packets for councils to provide more resources to councils Working on updating database for contacts and making sure that we have contact info that can be used in the future Working on developing our sister school program and helping schools connect with one another Working on Retention problem and providing more services such as the membership development packet to our schools Start a Bi-Monthly online report that schools can fill out which will help in national award selection at national conference and better communication Help VP Finance in getting dues from all schools by conference
What can you do?
If you have any students that are interested to serve on my committee please let them email me If you know any schools around your region that have a council or might be interested in NAESC just let me know the name of the school I need you to give me your council phone number and council email address that I can add to our database so we won00 have to ask for updates every year Start talking about National Conference, you will be getting emails from me and Perri very soon about it Lastly, please let me know if there is anything I am not doing or if there is anything you need.
