The Training Program for Federal TRIO Programs Personnel (Training Program) was designed to support you - TRIO personnel - with the goal of improving the operation and success of TRIO programs. We encourage you to look at the information provided here and to share it with your colleagues. Many of you have set aside funds in your grant for training. Here is an opportunity to attend trainings designed especially for TRIO personnel. You will notice that the schedule of trainings is organized by 00riority.00 These priorities were legislated by Congress and/or endorsed by the Department of Education. The organizations noted in this document received grants to provide trainings that address one or more of the priorities. The organizations have created trainings that are appropriate for personnel of all levels and experience. Some of the trainings will be most appropriate for personnel from a specific TRIO program. Some of the trainings will be held at the same time or close to the same time as a state meeting or a conference that you might also be attending. If you want to learn more about a specific training, you will find more details, including how to register, on each organization00 Web site. There is also a contact name listed for each organization and that person can help you with any questions you have as well. If you have additional questions about the Training Program that are not answered here, please contact the Training Program Lead, Jane Wrenn at 202-502-7614 or by email at: jane.wrenn@ed.gov.
