All Britannica training materials can be printed or downloaded from the training materials page within Teacher Resources. 00Ensure that audio speakers and the required plug-ins are available on your computer before training. The link to the required plug-ins is on the Teacher Resources page, under Technical Support. Test the various multimedia features and install new plug-ins if needed. Key points to cover 00Explain that Britannica Online School Edition covers all grade levels PreK-12. It includes four separate levels to meet the needs of primary, elementary, middle, and high school students. Each level has its own home page so students can start at the appropriate level. There are buttons at the bottom of every page for switching from one level to another. 00For elementary groups, demonstrate the Learning Zone features for students PreK-2 nd grade, such as the 00umbers00and 00hapes00activities under Play, as well as the videos in Explore, the vocabulary words in Read, and the Drawing tool. Click the 00nsure of the spelling00checkbox to correct for spelling problems when searching. 00Demonstrate geography research using the Compare Countries feature to compare two countries side-by-side, and by using the World Atlas and Discover America features. 00Show the highlights of the Learning Materials in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
