Mincom Ellipse Core Work Management
Those individuals responsible for applying for Permits to Work, creating and maintaining Permits to Work and planning and scheduling Permits to Work.
The Mincom Ellipse Permit to Work module provides the functionality required to maintain safety of personnel and to manage plant isolations, which are a critical components of maintenance activities. The Mincom Ellipse Permit to Work course provides participants with an understanding of the permit functionality including officer in charge, isolation guides and sheets, and standard steps and blocks. The course will also reinforce previous topics in the Work Management area by looking at the Mincom Ellipse Work Order tools. Maintain System Controls and associated table files. Set up documents and templates for permit to work, isolation sheet and tag printing. Maintain OIC (Officer in Charge) Resource classes and types. Raise and maintain Applications for Permit to Work. Set up site isolation documents. Maintain employee site codes and certification. Review generic OIC groups. Maintain Permit User Groups. Review and maintain Soft Status Progressions. Raise and maintain Permits to Work. Maintain Secondary Officers in Charge. Attach and maintain Isolation Sheets. Create and maintain Isolation Guides and Standard Steps.
