TPD Retreat May 9-11, 2007, 78 attendees, ABIM, RRC, NBME 5 subcommittees RRC recommendations - Jamie Johnston, Chair Toolkit - Eleanor Lederer/Vaughn Folkert, Chairs Credentialing - Mark Perazella, Chair Match - Stuart Shankland, Chair In-training examination - Mark Rosenberg, Chair Strengths - Informative, community-building, relevant, identification of problem areas Weaknesses - Not every TPD attended, time constraints Goals - Develop each subcommittee into working group that addresses problems Nephrology Match 125 of 134 programs participating (93%) 360 of 408 available positions (88%) 3 of 9 non-participants - Puerto Rico or military RRC recommendations January 2008 - First drafts due to RRC May 2008 - Final recommendations - emphasis on outcomes July 2010 - New requirements go into effect
