The Woolcott Research Small Business Omnibus

This study was conducted via the Woolcott Research Small Business Omnibus survey in November/December 2002.
The Small Business Omnibus covers 1,000 Australian businesses with less than twenty fulltime (or equivalent) staff.
The questions for Batey Kazoo Communications Pty Ltd were run for small businesses nationally.
This document contains details of the methodology, a copy of the questionnaire used, a graphical presentation of the findings and the results in tabular format.

Methodology

Interviews were conducted in-house using CATI (computer assisted telephone interviewing). All interviewers are personally trained and briefed in-house.
Quotas were set for location and type of industry (defined by ASIC codes) to be representative of all Australian Small Businesses (excluding the Agricultural sector).
Data was analysed using the SurveyCraft suite of software and is available on disk in a number of formats if required.
