NEW INTERNATIONAL STUDENT
UPON ARRIVAL AT HOUGHTON
(___) Obtain the key for your apartment/house from the residence hall/apartment main office. If you arrive after business hours you will obtain the key from Public Safety. If you have off-campus apartment rental, you need to visit the landlord to sign the rental contract and obtain the key. Make sure to read the contract before you sign as there are lots of legal fines if you leave the rental place before the expiration of contract. There are other conditions in the contract too which need your attention too.
