Wedding Ceremony Only Rental Contract

To reserve a date and time for your event, please fill out and sign this contract and mail it with your deposit.  Checks should be made out to Sonnenberg Gardens, 151 Charlotte St., Canandaigua, NY 14424

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE CHAIRS OR TABLES FOR CEREMONIES, WHICH ARE RENTED THROUGH OUTSIDE COMPANIES.  2006 pricing for white chairs: $1 plastic, $2.50 for white wooden chairs.

_________Wedding Ceremony only, 30 or more guests ($900.00) (Deposit $450.00)

      3 hours total (1 hour prior to ceremony plus 2 hours for ceremony and photos.) 

_________Small wedding ceremony w/ 30 or fewer guests

     ( $300 for 11am or 2pm, $400 for 5pm ceremony) 2 hours use of grounds and bride00 room 

(For all ceremonies with more than 220 guests, there is an additional charge of $1.50 per person) 

*** I, __________________________ understand that if the schedule event is cancelled by me or anyone associated with my event, the deposit of ___________that has been paid is non-refundable. I have also read the wedding guide and agree to abide by all the policies enclosed.  The balance of the site fee must be paid thirty (30) days prior to the event. The ceremony chair fee must be paid at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the wedding ceremony. I understand that if I change my date 2 or more weeks after booking I am responsible for a $50 administrative fee. 

I further agree that:

All wedding ceremonies are held at the wedding site located between the Rose Garden and the Old Fashioned Garden.

I understand that a tent may be put up at the site when there is a chance of rain, and that the decision to use the tent is

made by Sonnenberg Mansion and Gardens at least twenty four (48) hours ahead of the first scheduled event on a

weekend. I acknowledge I am responsible for the $60 fee that will be incurred if the tent is needed. I also understand

that once a tent is put up for the weekend, it cannot be taken down regardless of the weather. Sonnenberg Mansion and

Gardens makes no guarantee of which location will be available for our event in the case of unforeseen rain. Sonnenberg

Mansion and Gardens makes no guarantee of the appearance of any given property, including the wedding site. I

understand that there is an additional fee for ceremony chairs.  Sonnenberg Mansion and Gardens reserves the right to change without notice, any policy or procedure that has been communicated either orally or in writing. I understand that multiple events may be held at Sonnenberg Mansion and Gardens on any given day. I agree to hold Sonnenberg Mansion and Gardens harmless from any liability resulting from acts of omission of Sonnenberg Mansion and Gardens, their agents, employees, independent contractors, visitors or other persons acting on their instruction or with their consent.
