Administrator Instructions:

State Mandated Training for EEO

and Ethics Training

Requirement:  

The State of Texas mandates that all new employees must complete Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Ethics training within the first 30 days of employment. It also now requires all current employees including student employees to retake the training every two years. Both training courses are available online to make this process easier for you.  The Civil Rights Division of the Texas Workforce Commission requires all employees, student employees, part-time employees, and seasonal or temporary workers to complete this training. 

The training courses are available online to make this process easier for employees to complete at their convenience.  The EEO training course is entitled 00reating a Discrimination Free Workplace00the ethics course is entitled 00thics00  The courses are available in both English and Spanish. The online training must be completed at the employee00 workstation during normal working hours unless prior arrangements have been made with the supervisor or department head.  

HR liaison administrators are requested to run a report of their ADLOC each month to ensure that employees are in compliance with the scheduled completion of the state mandated supplemental EEO training.
