How to Purchase a Domain Name from Go Daddy.com and set the Domain Name Servers
 Go to www. godaddy.com
 When the Page appears there is place to enter the Domain Name that you would like. Enter the name
 and press Enter  or click Search .
 Godaddy. com will look for every name that is available and present a list of names to choose from.
 Find the Domain name  that you would like to purchase and
 Check  the box beside the name.
 Scroll down to the bottom of the page and press continue .
 
 
 After the Continue  button is pressed Godaddy.com will ask if you would like to purchase some other
 domain names.
 If you would like to buy more press yes! Add these to my order.
 If you do not want to purchase the other Domain names
 press No thanks. Continue registration .
 Next Godaddy. com will ask for some basic account information.
 Fill out the required information and press the continue  button at
 the bottom of the page.
 After the account information has been added Godaddy. com will ask for Domain Use Information . There
 are three questions Godaddy.com will ask.
 1. Q: I am using these domain (s) for Business, Personal, Both?
 A: Select the third option. Both .
 2. Q: Will you use your domain (s) with a web site?
 A: Select the first option. Yes, I already have a web site.
 3. Q: My site will be used for,
 A: Select the second option. Sharing Information
 Once these three questions have been answered scroll down to the bottom of the page and select
 Continue .
 
 
 Next Godaddy. com will inform you about making the Domain Name Private . In order to keep personal
 information private we recommend purchasing this option.
 Select either Make it Private  or Public Registration .
 After the Privacy question Godaddy.com asks how long you would like to purchase the domain for.
 Select the amount of years that the domain name will be purchased for.
 Next Godaddy. com will ask how about Renewing the account . They will renew the account either
 Automatically  or Manually .
 Select the option that you prefer.
 The next option is the most important to answer correctly. Checkout Preference .
 Godaddy.com ask if you are an expert user or not an expert user. Select Quick Checkout.
 Press Continue  at the bottom of the page.
 
 
 The next page is the Secure Checkout.
 Please verify all charges as well as the Domain Name.  If the Domain Name is purchased and it is miss-
 spelled godaddy. com will not issue a refund and will insist that another name is purchased.
 If everything is correct select the I have Read the Domain and Universal terms Agreements Check
 Boxes .
 Once the Agreement boxes  have
 been checked select the C heckout
 Now  button at the bottom of the
 screen.
 The Checkout page will ask for all of your address information as well as login and password information.
 Please write all of the login and password information down. This is for logging into your account.
 Once the information has been entered, select the Continue With Checkout button located at the
 bottom of the page.
 Next enter your Credit card information and press Checkout Now  located at the bottom of the screen.
 
 
 Now that the checkout process is complete you can log into your Godaddy.com account.
 Once logged in go to My Account . This button is located at the top left of the screen below Domains .
 When the My Account screen appears there are a lot of options.  Feel free to explore,  but for now we will
 go to Manage Domains
 All Domains  start out locked . So the first thing that must be
 done is to unlock the Domain .
 Check  the box beside the Domain Name .
 Then Select Set Locking
 Select Unlocked  and press Save Changes
 This may take a few moments to take effect. To check if the process has completed press the refresh
 button in the Browser or click on the Domain Name
 
 
 You will know it worked when the Lock icon  disappears.
 Now that the Domain Name  is unlocked we can begin to set the Name servers .
 Directly above the Set Locking  button is the Set Name server  button.
 Select Set Nameserver.
 Please place our Nameservers  in the Custom Nameserver section
 Broadjam's Nameservers  are
 00NS1 . BROAD JAM . NET
 00NS2 . BROAD JAM . NET
 These Name servers are not
 case sensitive.
 Once the Name servers  have been placed
 into the custom nameserver section
 press Save Changes .
 Just like the unlocking  of the Domain
 This may take a few moments to
 Process.
 Basically everything is done.  All that is left is to lock  up the Domain name  and log out of Godaddy.
 Select the Set Locking  button located directly under the Set Name server  button.
 When the screen appears select locked .
 After selecting locked , press Save Changes .
 Log out of go daddy.com and return to www.broadjam.com  go to My Profile and click on the Broadjam
 Hosting tab under Artist Profile to finish the Broadjam Hosting wizard.
