LIFE IS CHEAP 00AND GETTING CHEAPER!

30.08.02 00Life insurance is cheaper today than 15 years ago according to new research from Virgin Money.

Life cover continues to buck the trend compared to other everyday essentials.  While house prices are going through the roof and the cost of a loaf of bread is rising, the average cost of life insurance has fallen by 43%.

Many items 00such as cigarettes, beer, petrol and property - have more than doubled in cost since 1987, but figures from Virgin Money show that the price of life insurance is continuing to fall.

Virgin recently slashed its life insurance premiums by up to 34pc 00and added a new quick quote facility on to its

00ife insurance is one of the very few essential buys that has actually become better value for money in recent years.  While house price inflation and the rising cost of petrol and cigarettes are all common knowledge, consumers could be forgiven for thinking everything costs more these days.00
