Adobe Middle Eastern products can function with Windows or Macintosh, depending
upon your order. You can easily prepare your computer to handle Middle Eastern and
other languages. The first thing you should do is activate the keyboard drivers (see
instructions below). Then install your Adobe "ME" CDs.
SYSTEM PREFERENCES: Adobe CS3-ME can function with Windows XP or Vista; and for
Macintosh System 10.4.8 and higher.

It's Easy to Prepare Your Computer
for Arabic, Farsi and Hebrew
Language Support
Follow these installation instructions,
and receive a FREE bundle of
Middle Eastern OpenType Fonts!
WINDOWS XP/VISTA USERS : For Middle Eastern language support,
you need to activate 'regional language support' for Arabic, Farsi
or Hebrew. This turns on the keyboards for Arabic, Farsi or Hebrew
with Windows XP. To do so, click on Start > Help and Support and
then type Arabic, Farsi or Hebrew into the search box. That will
present you with instructions to activate.
Note: you will likely want to add additional language support, and
to install left to right support. Make sure to check the appropriate
subjects and review 'advanced settings' option.
MACINTOSH SYSTEM 10.4.8 USERS : To activate Middle Eastern
language support, you need to first install support for Arabic,
Hebrew or Farsi into Macintosh System 10.4.8 (or higher).
To do so, click on Preferences -> International -and select INPUT
MENU, and check the Arabic, Persian, and/or Hebrew keyboards.
Restart computer, and then install Adobe-ME software CDs.
Enjoy your Adobe-ME software, there is none better!
IMPORTANT - Install Adobe ME software CD's AFTER activating your
computer's language support described above. You cannot have
multiple "CS3" versions of same Adobe programs installed on same
computer, however CS3-ME can co-exist with CS/CS2 editions. You
cannot install CS2 after installing CS3-ME.
