CIRCLE PEAK CAPITAL ANNOUNCES ADDITIONS TO ADVISORY COUNCIL
New York, NY, November 30, 2007 -Circle Peak Capital, a private equity firm based in New York City,
announced today the additions of Jeff Reed and Sarah Elizabeth Nash to the advisory boards of the Firm .
Jeff Reed has had a successful career of over 20 years as a senior financial executive. He has built
businesses and created shareholder value by improving margins and cash flow, building strong
organizations, and has successfully executed acquisition build-up strategies in three different industries
in leveraged environments. Jeff also has a strong operations background. Jeff has been directly involved
in over 60 buy/sell transactions (primarily buy-side) over the last 15 years with single transaction values
over $1.1 billion. Jeff has led all transaction-related activities in his CFO and other financial management
roles. Jeff is currently the Chairman of Fischbein and served as CPC's operating partner in that
transaction. Jeff was most recently the VP/CFO (and a founding member) of Pro Mach, Inc. ("PMI")
where he worked from 1998 to 2005. PMI was a strategic acquisition build-up in the packaging machinery
industry backed by two private equity groups. PMI was formed through 13 acquisitions and became one
of the North American leaders in packaging equipment. The business was sold in December 2004 for a
significant gain to its shareholders. While at PMI, Jeff managed all acquisition activities, treasury, legal,
insurance/benefits, financial/accounting, etc. Since leaving PMI, Jeff has worked as a consultant and
advisor to various private equity firms. From 1996 to 1998, Jeff was the VP Finance and then CFO of
Greenfield Industries, a NASDAQ listed manufacturer of industrial cutting tools and consumer products
with revenues in excess of $600 million. The company was sold to Kennametal, Inc. in 1997 for over
$1.1billion. Prior to Greenfield, Jeff worked as director of corporate finance at Shaw Industries, Inc. (a $5+
billion floor covering manufacturer now part of Berkshire Hathaway), formerly a NYSE company where
he directed numerous acquisitions of commercial flooring contractors and managed the integration of the
group. He started his career at the public accounting firm of Arthur Andersen where he was a senior
manager in the audit and business advisory practice. Jeff is a CPA and has an undergraduate degree in
business/accounting from the University of Georgia. Jeff currently serves as Chairman of the Board for a
CPC portfolio company, Fischbein LLC, and has been instrumental in implementing financial and
operational best practices, as well as developing Fischbein's pipeline of potential acquisition candidates.
Jeff owns equity in the Company and will continue to play an active role in its operations.
Sarah Nash recently retired as Vice Chairman of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.'s Investment Bank where she
was responsible for the firm's client relationships. Prior to these responsibilities, she was the Regional
Executive and Co-Head of Investment Banking for North America at J.P. Morgan & Co.
Over her career at J.P. Morgan & Co., Sarah's focus has been to build and broaden J.P. Morgan's North
American client franchise, beginning in the late 1970's with Midwest client coverage. She developed and
led J.P. Morgan's Leveraged Finance business from 1985-1990. She initiated and led a business
development team from 1990-1992, which then became the Investment Bank's model for client coverage.
Since 1992, Sarah has held a variety of senior management positions in Investment Banking. Over the
years, her organizations have focused on growing the client franchise and as well as building a strong
regional organization for J.P. Morgan. Her personal areas of expertise are strategic advisory, capital
raising, and financial restructurings.
Since retiring from JPMorgan, Sarah has focused on investments in the biotechnology sector and serves
on the board and head of Audit Committee of Merrimack Pharmaceuticals. Her other corporate board
position is Knoll Inc. where she serves on the Compensation Committee.
Sarah's philanthropic leadership responsibilities include her serving as a Trustee for New York-
Presbyterian Hospital where Sarah serves on the Executive, Finance and Investment Committees and for
Washington and Lee University. She is also a Trustee of The New-York Historical Society, The NewYork
Restoration Project and serves on the Business Leadership Council ofCUNY.
She grew up in Montreal, Canada and graduated from Vassar College in 1974. She began her career in
marketing at IBM and then left in January, 1976 to join J.P. Morgan. She is a dual U.S.-Canadian citizen,
is married and has two children.
